Access Statement For Caravan and Camping Park
Introduction
We strive to ensure that all visitors can enjoy the
accommodation, facilities and surrounding within the park.
Our aim is to help in anyway that we can and if you
require any assistance during your stay or whilst planning
your visit we will be delighted to assist. Our current
facilities and services offered are:
Pre-Arrival
*We cater for tents, touring Caravans and have 2 static
Caravans for hire.
*Our brochure is available on request by post with a copy
of this access statment if required.
Arrival and Car Parking Facilites
*Please take notice of 10 mph signs as there are Children
playing common sense rules.
*Small car parking in front of main toilet block
*|We welcome families and coules but regretfully do not
accept all male/female groups.
* All facilites are clearly signposted, signs are mainly
green back ground with white writing.
Main Entrance and Reception
* Access to reception and shop which are the same
building is near the main toilet block.
*There are 2 toilet blocks, the main block consists of
unisex showers which are free with steps up (13cm) in the
ladies, gents and laundry room.
Disabled toilet ramp with level access. The second toilet
block is situated near the washing up sinks and consists
of a ladies and gents the ladies have a little step (8cm)
gents is sloping.
* The majority of pitches are on grass with electric, we
also have 11 hard standings which are gravel they have
electric, water and drain points, These are only to be used
when on the hard standings. (which is for grey water only).
*You are allowed to park next to unit .
*Asssistance on arrival is always available.
*There are numerous water points around the site along
with fire points.
*Dustbins are near main toilet block.
*Chemical disposal points is near entrance .
*Pitches are allocated on booking unless pre-booked we
are happy to advise on location if needed.
Grounds and Gardens
*The park is a large field with a road through to the 2nd
field which is mainly for tents.
*The grounds is mainly tarmac roads and paths.
*There is a 10 MPH speed limit on Site.
*
Static Caravans
*Static caravans have 5 steps up to main entrance step
height 115mm with handrail on one side, door width
590mm internal doors 460 mm.
*Each van comprises of 2 bedroom maximum sleeping 6,
shower room, lounge and kitchen. Both have own parking
spaces.
*We have 1 which we allow dogs (please specify on
booking)
Outdoor facilities
*There is a children's play area which has a gate to entry
100cm wide.
*The surface is bark chippings.
*Seating under the 2 towers.
*There is a large outbuilding which houses 3 table tennis
tables with large door and 1 small step up 150mm.
Laundry
*There is 1 top loading washing machine height 90cm.
*There is 1 high level tumble dryer 110cm.
*Iron available on request ironing board already in room.
Shop
*The shop is in same building as reception and shares the
same entrance.
*There are steps down to reception and shop bell at top for
disabled.
*The shop door is 80cm.
Future plans
*Plans are progressing for the development of a new fully
accessable shop and reception.
*Although we have tried to be as accurate as possible and
inclube as much detail as we can in this statement, we are
always willing to give information on any aspect of the
park. If this statement does not answer you particular
